The man known as Joe Franco has been playing guitar since he was 14. Having recently moved from the beautiful luxuries of the west coast to what can only be viewed as a concrete convection oven, Joe’s only pleasure, besides his loving family, has been meeting 12 Ton Sledge. Many different types of music and bands including Black Sabbath, The Police, Hate Eternal, Dark Angel, Yes, Suicidal Tendencies, and Slayer influence Joe, but mainly he listens to metal. Joe’s proudest moments on stage have been with a Los Angeles band named “Straight Jack It”, later named S.J.I....

S.J.I. played with many greats, including M.O.D., Mortician, Strapping Young Lad, and Crematorium. Joe is excited to be part of the 12 Ton Sledge line up and hopes to bring a new color to the already amazing spectrum that is 12 Ton Sledge.
